As a general rule, I charge for the required quality based on the time given to complete a job. My standard rate for a high-quality, finalized translations is 0.08EUR/word. In that case I provide an additional proofreading if it is possible in the terms of confidentiality. But as said before, my rates are negotiable, so it isn't the only one fixed rate that I'm offering, because: "How is it possible to have the same rate for express translation of rocket science content and user's guide of mp3 player?" :-).
